This is a street scene of a typical roman home or otherwise called a domus. Outside romans clients would wait to see their Patron , the master of the home "Dominus". Outside to the left is a small shop rented out by the Dominus. Romans would sell anything from pottery to food, thus becoming the inventors of "fast food". This roman domus was the model and concept for the "House of the Vine"
